Your privacy matters. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user of NexusDeals.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us, we collect your email address and any message content you choose to share. Partner applicants additionally provide a business name, contact name, and website URL.
Automatically collected data
When you visit NexusDeals, our servers automatically log your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referrer URL, and session duration. This data is used solely for analytics and platform improvement.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to remember your preferences (e.g. category filters) and to count unique visitors. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may be affected.
2. How We Use Your Information
Service delivery
We use your data to operate the platform — displaying relevant deals, processing partner applications, sending newsletter emails you opted into, and responding to support enquiries.
Analytics and improvement
Aggregated, anonymised usage data helps us understand which categories and deals are most popular, so we can improve content quality and user experience.
Security
IP addresses and session data may be used to detect and prevent fraud, spam, or abuse of the platform.
4. Data Retention
How long we keep data
Newsletter subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are kept for up to 12 months. Server logs are retained for 90 days. Partner account data is retained for the duration of the partnership plus 12 months.
Deletion requests
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@nexusdeals.pk. We will process the request within 30 days and confirm completion.
5. Security
How we protect your data
NexusDeals uses HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Our databases are hosted on Supabase with row-level security policies. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised team members with multi-factor authentication.
No system is perfect
While we take reasonable precautions, no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at security@nexusdeals.pk.
6. Third-Party Links
External websites
NexusDeals contains links to partner brand websites. When you click through to a brand, bank, or retailer, you are subject to that website's own privacy policy. We are not responsible for their data practices and encourage you to review their policies.
7. Children's Privacy
Age restriction
NexusDeals is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Access and correction
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct any inaccuracies. Email privacy@nexusdeals.pk with your request.
Unsubscribe
Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. You may also email us to be removed from our mailing list.
Opt-out of analytics
You may opt out of analytics tracking by enabling Do Not Track in your browser settings, or by using a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts.
9. Changes to This Policy
Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the homepage or by email to newsletter subscribers. The date at the top of this page always reflects when the policy was last updated.
